The way rap is today, it is actually anti-culture! Culture is a way of life that is handed down from generation to generation, today hip-hop is the way they want life to be, and instead of it being handed down from one generation to the next, its being uprooted and re-defined ever few years!
We all know that you get wiser with age, unless you are a certified retard, you are smarter at 5 than you were when you were 1, smarter at 15 than you were at 10, smarter at 20 than you were at 17, smarter at 30 than you were at 25. We are the only race in the face of the earth with the tradition of following the way of life of 18 year olds, and are convinced that they have the answers to life, no matter how silly and dumb they may be.
By doing so, it's almost we have a case of social amnesia, a race with out history, and we become bound to make the same mistakes over and over again!
But don't get it twisted, this is no mistake, its all a grand design, to keep young black males immature, reckless, and unable to connect to their adulthood. That begins, many times when males are raised in the absences of any male figure in their life and the hate is often the reflection of their mothers who raised them, attitude towards their father!
In short many black youth negative towards becoming a man can be directly linked to their fear of turning into the one man they have been taught to despise the most, their fathers!
This is why you, you tend to see black men who have a healthy relationship with their father as being more mature, in general, and more respectful toward their elders.
Is this all the result of rap? Hell no! However, rap is just one cog in the big engine of the destruction of the Black man in America. Funny about time you get old enough to see the big picture, and warn the next generation, is about the same time, they are instructed to ignore your words, and keep doing what they've been doing! It is the nature of the lemming, to keep going forward, forgoing the results of the lemmings that walked before them.
